Our Mission

To support the love and care of our canine companions and enhance the lives that we share with them.

Bay Woof’s mission is to provide community supported content to our readers, the dog lovers of the San Francisco Bay Area and beyond; to offer news and education that promotes responsible dog ownership and advocacy; and to work with local and national organizations to develop and maintain Bay Woof as a platform to distribute informative content that benefits the health and well-being of dogs and their humans.

Bay Woof is founded on the belief that dogs are sentient beings from whom we humans have much to learn. Through our love and care for them, we experience a deeper understanding of our world and ourselves. Bay Woof seeks to provide tangible resources to support this time-honored connection with our canine friends.
